另外，朴槿惠總統日前遭國會彈劾而停職，國會繼而將彈劾建議案送交憲法法院，朴槿惠方面16日向法院提出答辯書。辯護律師表示，國會列舉5項違憲和8項違法行為不屬實，並要求憲法法院否決或駁回彈劾維霖診所評價審判的請求。

朴槿惠被控讓崔順實等親信介入國家政策及政府人事任免，並任其發揮影響力，逼企業捐款。但辯護律師團主張，如對崔順實參政比例加以量化，與總統施政總量相比還不足1％。朴槿惠即使聽了崔順實意見並反映在施政上，也是社會觀念被允許之事，最終決定還是由朴自行定奪。
